I am really happy with this speaker. I had always wanted to install a subwoofer, but never got around to it. When I finally did, the Dayton DAEX32EP-4 Thruster was the ideal choice. For me, this is loud enough. I’m not a very big guy so I don’t need to feel the speaker thumping real hard.
I did install it with ground loop isolators though. But for people without that sort of setup, they might get some unwanted humming. I can’t say for sure if it’s a factor. But my car is pretty much standard, so maybe it’s best to be on the safe side.
